2018 Tour

See Images Ballet Company this summer for a unique and exciting take on classical dance. These aspiring professionals take centre stage to showcase theatrical and vibrant ballet with stylish costume and a rich musical palette – a performance that will appeal to ballet lovers and those new to dance!

Featuring choreographers from Ballet Ireland, the Royal Ballet and formerly with Rambert, Images presents an eclectic programme of dance, brimming with new ideas.

Acclaimed choreographer, Morgann Runacre-Temple re-visits her exhilarating portrait of three powerful women in Mozart’s life and Bim Malcomson chooses music from Joby Talbot’s ‘Alice’ for her mischievous exploration of the humour of being human. Former Royal Ballet and Rambert soloist, Hubert Essakow presents intriguing encounters between live music and dance inspired by Robert Schumann’s Märchenbilder and the strange world of Belgian artist Léon Spilliaert. And in the centenary year of votes for women in this country, Royal Ballet artist Erico Montes was drawn to the music of a forgotten Afro-American composer, Florence Price. The full company revel in the joy of the romantic movement world that he has created.

"their show was one of the most exciting I’ve seen in years with a wonderful and eclectic choice of repertoire, danced with passion and verve"
- Bruce Marriot, Dance Tabs
